Sorry but the following meeting had to be cancelled due to the village hall being subjected to storm damage.
 There will, obviously, be no new minutes this month and the Agenda will remain the same for the next meeting, which will be held on Tuesday 7th February 2012 at 6.45pm in the village hall.

Police Report
No Police present. Representative from Small Ports Unit could not make meeting will come in the New Year.
Please be aware: lots of scams at the moment, e-mail and telephone, BT, visa and master card scams, never give out bank details, credit card details or passwords.
Matters Arising
Church Wood - Benches and table are in wood, thanks to Ally Cerexhe, Ian Cerexhe, Ian Hoad, Mark Trafford and Frank Mortimer. Report of red squirrel in wood. Plastic bin to be purchased to store seed and nuts.
School Brae - Works now finished, surfacing not totally finished due to weather conditions, the extra wall requested by CC - not enough in budget, e-mail from Cllr. Willie Scobie regarding this.

Footpath/30MPH sign - CC to keep chasing this issue.

There will be a Carol Service at St.Ninian's Church on Sunday, 11th December, 2011 at 6.30pm.
Street Lights on pathway Military Road not working - Brenda to contact Major Orr Ewing.
Pathway through field at new housing development Military Way - CC to contact DG Council.
Xmas Trees at Church, one for outside and one for inside. Thanks to Ally Cerexhe, Ian Hoad and Wille McMekin.
Xmas Lights - enough left to go around apex at Coastguard shed.
Pavement at bottom of School Brae - it was asked why the pavement did not carry
on to end of road into Main Street.
Penionser's Xmas Party - Lesley and Jenny thinking of maybe doing something February time. CC to give donation if needed.
Village Hall - A big thank you to Lesley Cerexhe for all time and effort put into getting
application off to Solway Hertiage for Windfarm benefits and also a big thank you to Paul Phillips for all his help with prices etc.

Chair, Lesley Cerexhe wished everybody a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
